Computer Desktop Keys
| Keys | Description |
| Alt + Enter (or Alt + Double-click) | Show the Properties info box for a selected item |
| Shift + Delete | Permanently Delete an item, bypassing the Recycle Bin |
| F2 | Rename an item, such as selected file, program or folder |
| F5 | Refresh a window's contents |
| F3 | Quick open of the Windows search program, Find |
| Ctrl + A | Select all items |
| Ctrl whilst dragging a file | Copy a file |
| Ctrl + Shift whilst dragging a file | Create a Shortcut |
| Shift whilst inserting a CD | Bypass Autoplay when inserting a CD |

Windows Explorer Keys

| F11 | Toggle between Full Screen and regular view |
| Right Arrow | Expand the selected folder |
| Left Arrow | Collapse the selected folder if it is expanded |
